We are pleased to announce that our award winning Energy Management Software (digitalenergy Professional) is now available to purchase through the UK Government’s ’Software as a Service` G-Cloud 8 Digital Marketplace Framework Agreement.
The Cloudstore listing allows public sector organisations to now purchase digitalenergy software without needing to run a full tender or competition procurement process.
The list produced by the Crown Commercial Service (CCS) includes only those cloud based technology businesses which have been able to demonstrate that their product meets the stringent security standards and vigorous testing of this government procurement department and can therefore become approved suppliers to government departments and local authorities across the UK.
The framework has been designed to reduce public spending on IT projects and ensure that the government and public sector are no longer left with antiquated outdated systems.
It also allows government departments and local authorities to purchase solutions without the need for either party to undergo complex EU processes.
digitalenergy’s award winning energy management software is also still available on the G-Cloud 7 framework.
The Crown Commercial Service (CCS) has brought together Government’s central commercial capability into a single organisation, amalgamating Government Procurement Service with othercommercial teams from the Cabinet Office and central government departments.
CCS is an executive agency of the Cabinet Office and operates as a trading fund under the Government Trading Funds Act 1973. Their remit is to work with both departments and organisations across the whole of the public sector to ensure maximum value is extracted from every commercial relationship and improve the quality of service delivery.
The CCS goal is to become the “go-to” place for expert commercial and procurement services.
