BRE and ESTA produce new guide to Energy Management and Building Controls
20/05/2016« Back

The Building Research Establishment (BRE) has published a range of publications exploring the best practices in energy management and building controls.

A briefing document entitled "Energy Management and Building Controls" has been published by BRE and written by Dr Alan Lewry from the Energy Services and Technology Association (ESTA).

The control of energy in non-domestic buildings is generally poor, despite the substantive savings that can be made. This technical briefing note informs readers of the benefits of the European standard BS EN15232:2012 [1] and helps them to navigate through the standard. It highlights the points to consider when deciding which controls would best suit a company’s needs, and includes a guide to best practice.
